Meetups & Communities of Practice

As a Chicago Out-of-school-time (OST) intermediary network, CLX convenes regular meetups for OST practitioners. Convening leaders bimonthly for meetups and regularly for specialized trainings, CLX works to build practitioner social capital and knowledge. This results in youth referrals and greater capacity in topics like youth recruitment, summer collaborations, evaluation, and more.

Meetups provide a Community of Practice for Chicago OST professionals to connect, build relationships, share resources and information, and build collaborations and partnerships to better serve Chicago’s young people.

Meetups form one component of a broader programmatic agenda to connect, invest in, and advocate for Chicago’s OST community.
