The READS program facilitator works onsite with students and volunteers, facilitating the daily activities and encouraging student participation in an inclusive and safe classroom community. Volunteer recruitment and communication is also a large part of the job as student small groups are led by a volunteer tutor. The facilitator works with collages and universities to recruit volunteers, maintains an online volunteer recruitment presence, and communicates with volunteers daily about lessons and attendance.
