CLX Executive Leadership Program

CLX leads a continuous improvement process to address system-wide barriers to OST. The current focus is improving youth development leader wellbeing and retention to ensure access to OST opportunities, through our inaugural Executive Leadership Program.

CLX + Paragon Executive Leadership Program:

We are excited to announce the application to our inaugural Executive Leadership Program, offered fall 2024 in partnership with Paragon Performance Evolution. This program gives OST youth-development leaders the opportunity to develop skills to enhance their leadership in service of staff and community.

This 3 month program will engage a cohort of 2 leadership-level staff from up to 8 Chicago OST organizations, using a research-backed method to build tools and capacity for enhancing self-reliance, stress management, and emotional self-regulation. Our vision is for participants to incorporate program learnings into their practices both as individuals/leaders, and to be equipped to scale the learning back into their organizations.

We're grateful to the coalition of organizations whose Collective Impact convenings over the past 12 months have informed the development of this program. We also are excited to build on a model program that Chicago Youth Centers has implemented with Paragon over the past 2 years, to address challenges of high stress and turnover in staff.
