Join CLX for Its Debut Celebration on October 29!
The Chicago Learning Exchange (CLX) will celebrate its public launch at a special event hosted by Google at its offices at 320 N. Morgan St. on Oct. 29 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
The celebration will introduce CLX as a hub for supporting digital-age learning with the goal of closing Chicago’s opportunity gap.
CLX is an integral leader in Chicago’s learning ecosystem of organizations, schools, libraries and other institutions working to remake learning.

The event will highlight innovations in learning by members of the CLX community and feature a keynote address by Julia Stasch, President and CEO of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, on the origins and future of connected learning in Chicago.
CLX will release a groundbreaking research report, Engaging Youth in a Connected World: The Promise of Digital Media Tools and Technologies in Chicago’s Out-of-School-Time Programs, with lead author, Jeanne Century, Director of Outlier Research and Evaluation at UChicago STEM Education at the University of Chicago.
