Plant Chicago

Plant Chicago is a small community-based nonprofit in the Back of the Yards neighborhood. We are based out of a 100 year old firehouse, we are currently renovating into a decarbonized community space. Our mission is to cultivate local circular economies and we do this via our programs: Food Access, Solar Access, Education and Shared-Use Growing spaces. Each branch of our programming is focused on local access to sustainable minded resources for community members of Back of the Yards and beyond.
