Alexandra Galvan - Chicago HOPES for Kids

Alex Galván is a young professional from the Southwest side of Chicago. Alex attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Educational Policy and Spanish in 2017. She currently works at Chicago HOPES for Kids, an organization that supports children and families living in homeless shelters, as the Outreach and Family Engagement Administrator. Alex's purpose is to connect people to the resources necessary to move them towards a life of independence and freedom. Alex is passionate about social justice and will be attending the University of Chicago in the Fall of 2020 to pursue a Masters of Social Work. Alex's favorite donut place in Chicago is Old Fashioned Donuts in the Roseland neighborhood.
