Proyecto Cuidate - Little Village Youth Teams is a youth-centered, strengths based program centering youth power and resiliency through the building of support networks for youth with peers and caring adults. Youth are engaged with various school-based and community-based groups and services based on their interests and needs including mentorship, leadership development, advocacy, and self-care.

The Full Time Youth Program Specialist will be a position in the Proyecto Cuidate Department directly impacting the Little Village Community. Proyecto Cuidate is a violence prevention, intervention, and community support and wellness department providing supports for families, youth, and individuals through diverse supportive services, programs, and therapy.

The Youth Program Specialist is the lead facilitator and programs, groups, and activities with youth afterschool as well as in school-based programs. The Youth Program Specialist develops activities, leads engagement with youth, develops supportive relationships with program participants, and participates in community initiatives and events.

Travel may be required for meetings and events as well as field trip participation with youth participants.
