Today, Erie House is a modern social services nonprofit with programming and resources for children and youth, mental health and community wellness, adult education and training, legal services, and more. Proyecto Cuidate - Little Village Youth Teams is a youth-centered, strengths based program centering youth power and resiliency through the building of support networks for youth with peers and caring adults. Youth are engaged with various school-based and community-based groups and services based on their interests and needs including mentorship, leadership development, advocacy, and self-care.


The Full Time Youth Advocacy Coordinator will be a position in partnership with Proyecto Cuidate Department directly impacting the Little Village Community.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Youth Advocacy Coordinator oversees the development of relationships with resources, partners, and youth to ensure the affirming connection of youth to meaningful opportunities and supports. The Youth Advocacy Coordinator meets with partners, supports youth in programs through group facilitation and case management, and provides resources and referrals for youth and community members.

Travel may be required for meeting and workshop attendance and field trip participation with youth participants.
