We All Code

We All Code's mission is to empower youth in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields and encourage them to build their software development skills into a lifelong passion. The vision of We All Code is to foster the growth of Chicago's youth and help them to become active participants in their own futures through learning coding and web development tools. They will build these skills through a variety of front and back-end coding software and collaborative work with experienced mentors in the field. We All Code is a volunteer not for profit that teaches web, game, and app development to youth ages 7 to 17.

Our mission is to create a fun, collaborative environment to explore STEM. Through challenging play, youth can build memorable experiences with mentors. All classes are 100% free to attend thanks to your generous donations.

We All Code was founded in 2013 as CoderDojoChi. Our founder, Ali Karbassi, built We All Code from the ground up in an effort to eliminate the barriers keeping girls and underserved youth from learning STEM skills. It has grown to more than 337 active mentors teaching over 600 students. We host twice-monthly workshops with dozens of youth and reach hundreds of families across the Greater Chicago area.

We All Code is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization in the United States.
