The ARK of St. Sabina is a community center dedicated to enhancing the talents, lives, and spirits of community youth through education, mentoring, and linkages to resources. The ARK is St Sabina Church's community youth center, which uses a multifaceted approach to impact youth in the community as well as their families. The center offers a variety of programs for youth and young adults, ages 6 – 24 years of age. The ARK serves approximately 70-120 youth on a daily basis, providing a structured free after-school program for youth ages 6-14. The youth in the afterschool program participate in arts and crafts activities, recreational sports, dance classes, computer classes, academic enrichment programming, health and nutrition activities, life skills classes and field trips. The high school and college-age students also have the opportunity to participate in a number of programs including a culinary arts apprenticeship program, mentoring programs, teen night basketball, and a violence prevention youth council entitled BRAVE, which stands for Bold Resistance Against Violence Everywhere. The ARK also offers a free summer camp for youth, serving a 100 youth during camp each year.
