Drew Wehrle - Chicago Botanic Garden

Drew is currently the Chicago Botanic Garden's School Programs Coordinator. He enables PreK-12th grade, non-formal education experiences at the Garden. By cultivating an appreciation of nature and place, Drew uses the power of plants to inform next-generation science learners about environmental phenomena. Drew works with students and teachers across Chicago and continually seeks new approaches to learning and engagement. Recently, Drew founded Wehrlegig Games, a publishing company devoted to tackling serious issues through board games. Their first title is devoted to the history of imperialism in Afghanistan.
