Chicago Botanic Garden College First

The Chicago Botanic Garden serves more than one million annual visitors in the Chicago region with dazzling horticultural displays, public exhibitions, conservation science research, and plant-based education and community programs, advancing its mission statement: We cultivate the power of plants to sustain and enrich life. The education department and specifically youth programs continue to adapt to the changing times and work to encourage and prepare youth for STEM careers. By providing research and field opportunities for youth, students are able to gain skills in critical and innovative thinking. CBG has always prioritized growing its network and strengthening partnerships, which plays a major role in their ability to offer dynamic programming.
