Chelsea Ridley joined Mikva Challenge in July 2018 to manage the Teen Health Council (THC). THC advises the Chicago Department of Public Health and the Office of Student Health and Wellness of CPS on issues related to teen mental and physical health. Chelsea holds a bachelor’s degree in History and Russian studies from Illinois Wesleyan University and went to the University of Illinois at Chicago for a Master’s Degree in Museum and Exhibition Studies. At the University of Illinois at Chicago, she received the Social Justice award from her graduate program. Previously, Chelsea has worked with youth on the south and west sides of Chicago in the areas of history, literacy, and social and emotional support services.
