Ani Schmidt - Chicago History Museum

Ani is passionate about museums, nonprofits, learning new things, and running. She works on the public programs team at the Chicago History Museum (CHM). As a member of the education department at CHM, she develops and produces programs and tours for adults, youth, and families. Ani manages the museum’s LGBTQ community advisory committee and acts as Vice Chair for the Digital Future Committee. Since 2013, Ani has worked on the Hive Funded GeoConvos project. Ani serves on the Executive Board of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Chicago (YNPN Chicago) as board chair. This all-volunteer run organization provides accessible resources, networking opportunities, and professional development programs to emerging leaders in the social sector.
