After-School All-Stars Chicago

After-School All-Stars Chicago was established in 2002 and is the largest chapter in the ASAS National Network. Founded on a partnership between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Arne Duncan, former CEO of Chicago Public School and US Secretary of Education, ASAS Chicago makes it possible for 30,000 students in over 165 schools participate in free, high-quality, after-school programs. Over the past 15 years, ASAS Chicago evolved to provide a spectrum of after-school programming ranging from comprehensive school sites to individual initiatives and camps.
